A loyal friend to Professor Sycamore who came along for the ride in Genessia as she was still in her Poke Ball at that time. Originally an aggressive Gible that Alain found, she gradually starts to trust Sycamore along with the other Pokemon in his lab, which she evolved into Gabite and Garchomp. Despite her fearsome appearance, she is actually gentle and kind to others and will defend anyone, especially her trainer, from any threats.
As Sycamore possessed both the Key Stone and the Garchompite Mega Stone, Garchomp can Mega Evolve into Mega Garchomp.

A Pokemon that was hatched from Sycamore's egg. While it is the first time he has ever seen this kind of Pokemon, he still treated the same way like with his Garchomp and his lab Pokemon.
As for Bruxish, it somehow misbehaves at first, but it starts to warm up to the professor as well getting along with his Garchomp.

Sycamore found a Bulbasaur watching him battle with his Bruxish against a Shuppet out of curiosity. It didn't take notice of it until he not only runs up to the professor to take a closer look at him but also how he saw the Mega Stone hanging on his neck. Once he sees Sycamore's kind heart, he eventually joined him as one of his Pokemon.
Initially, a Pokemon who is cold both to his trainer and the other Pokemon, he slowly warms up to Sycamore as he continues to battle alongside him as a serious battler. Even after he evolved into Ivysaur, he can only open up to the professor for now.
