Aren't we supposed to be the same people? That's what everybody's saying, and from what I remember, everything my other self did, I can see myself doing that stuff too.
[ Mostly because her canon is a shounen/slice of life/school manga... ]
Well, from what I know on meeting several other users, I can tell that most of us lived different lives than yours. For me, my other self was a professor involving fictional and powerful creatures like my dragon I got from Retrospec.
[ What are these things... After fighting monsters all of August, Mafuyu's gut reaction upon seeing one of these creatures would be to punt it into outer space. ]
Why would you do that...? You were a teacher and a pet store owner too?
It's alright. If you don't want to participate this, I won't force you to do so.
For now, I feel you should live and endure your life for a while. You won't know what kind of things you will miss if you wrap this whole anomaly mess around your head for a while.
Well yeah, that's basically what I'm doing already, but it's not "enduring," it's just... living. Having fun. Eating popsicles, that sort of thing.
[ She doesn't worry about everything that's happening, and doesn't let the stress get to her either, being entirely confident in her ability to power through absolutely anything life throws at her. ]
[ That's the plan all along, so seeing that they've both finished their popsicles, Mafuyu stands and stretches her arms above her head to get ready to leave. ]
Yeah, I'll catch you later! You can buy me popsicles and show me your dragon sometime!
[Besides, he knows that Modeste loves to meet new people.]
Just be careful out there. Au revoir!
[He then waves goodbye to Mafuyu before he also left the Grub Mart, happy that he met a real energetic girl online and offline. He just hopes that he will really see her again in the near future.]

[He then takes out his journal and shows his drawing of the small creatures that he saw from his memories.]
I also have a memory that also involves my other self giving out one of these creatures to a young girl there.

Can't help you out there. But I don't really think it matters what your other self was like. It doesn't change anything, right?

[As he said this, he gently bit another piece of his popsicle as he looks up in the sky.]
What matters now is regarding the mystery of Retrospec and this city's anomalies.

[ chomp, chomp, the rest of her popsicle disappears in angry crunching until she's left chewing on the wooden stick. ]
I'm not good for anything but fighting, so I'll leave that up to you guys.
